About ATEV
The ATEV (Auto-Teile-Einkaufs-Verband e.G.) is a cooperatively organised purchasing association of mid-sized auto parts dealers headquartered in Marktheidenfeld-Altfeld, Bavaria. Founded in 1986 by six dealers in Fellbach near Stuttgart, the association today supplies more than 70 members at over 80 locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with spare parts and accessories for passenger cars, trucks, commercial vehicles and two-wheelers via a network of first-class suppliers and OEM manufacturers. At the core of logistics are two own central warehouses of ATEV Logistik GmbH: the warehouse in Mitterteich operated since 1997 (until April 2023) and, since October 2017, a warehouse in Wiener Neustadt in Austria. Orders received at the central warehouse by 17:30 are shipped overnight. In addition to supplier pooling, the ATEV offers its members the ATEVis ordering information system, individually tailored ordering catalogues based on DVSE/Topmotive, master data management in the ATEV-Masterformat, cloud-based IT and inventory management solutions, an FTP service including drop-shipping, invoicing via Aktivbank AG, and marketing support for B2B and B2C. As a cooperative, it offers all members equal purchasing terms and equal voting rights.
