About Automediq
Automediq is a Swiss mechanical engineering company founded in 2024, headquartered in Effretikon (canton of Zurich) and a brand of the Schaltag Group. The company develops and manufactures scalable assembly platforms for drug-device combination products such as pens, autoinjectors and syringes. The portfolio comprises three tiers: Automediq Lite for manual small series and laboratory production (90–180 parts/h), the semi-automated assembly cell Automediq Cell with robotics (600 parts/h), and the high-performance system Automediq Pro for semi- or fully automated large series (900 parts/h). Key processes such as pressing, priming, quality inspection, labeling (thermal transfer or laser), as well as packing and cartoning, can be integrated or added as add-on cells. The systems are designed in accordance with GMP/GAMP and CFR standards, compliant up to cleanroom class 7, and made of 316L stainless steel. With ERP and SCADA interfaces, batch and recipe management with audit trail, and worldwide ramp-up support, Automediq accompanies customers from clinical trials to series production. Close partnerships exist with BD Medical (BD Vystra, BD Physioject, BD UltraSafe), LinMot & MagSpring, and PAVIS Engineering.
