About Automobili Pininfarina
Automobili Pininfarina GmbH is a manufacturer of luxury electric vehicles headquartered in Munich with roots in the Italian coachbuilding and design firm Pininfarina SpA. The company was founded in 2018 by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and thereby fulfils the aim of company founder Battista Farina to build vehicles under his own name. The vehicles are developed, engineered and built at the Cambiano site near Turin, including the electric hypercar Battista in a limited edition of 150 units, whose series production began in 2021. The body is made of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) with a carbon-fibre monocoque; the powertrain and battery technology come from Rimac Automobili as a technical partner. In addition to the Battista, the portfolio includes the roadster B95, special editions such as the Edizione Nino Farina and Anniversario, as well as design concepts based on the company's own PURA design philosophy. Sales are handled by 26 retail partners worldwide, from the USA to Australia.
