autosen gmbh was founded in 2011 in Essen as a joint venture with one of the world's leading manufacturers of automation technology and draws on over 40 years of experience in the development and production of sensor technology. Under the io-key.com brand, the company offers a complete solution consisting of an IIoT gateway (io-key®), a sensor data cloud (autosen.cloud) and a flat-rate data plan. Existing IO-Link sensors are automatically detected via plug & play; the measured values are transmitted wirelessly to the cloud without intervention in the IT infrastructure, where they can be monitored and analyzed via dashboards and trigger alerts by e-mail or SMS. With the apollo container architecture, autosen delivers sensor values via MQTT into integrators', cloud operators' and IT service providers' own cloud environments. Since 2019, the io-key® ecosystem has been operated as a partnership platform with partners such as Software AG, 1NCE, Round Solutions and ifm electronic; thanks to 1NCE connectivity, deployment in over 150 countries is possible. Reference customers include SMC, FRIMA and Jaspers.
