About us
Autoverwertung Oskar is a recognized dismantling facility for end-of-life vehicles based in Chemnitz that has specialized in the recovery of end-of-life and accident vehicles as well as spare parts trading since 2006. Around 500 vehicles (cars and trucks) are dismantled every year; more than 500 end-of-life vehicles are permanently available for spare parts recovery. In the dismantling hall, the vehicles are drained: all operating fluids are separated and extracted, collected in an environmentally sound manner using special equipment, and collected by a certified waste management company. Usable spare parts are dismantled, stored and sold; vehicles that can no longer be recycled are compressed and taken to a shredding plant in order to return metallic raw materials to the economic cycle. The range of services includes issuance of the certificate of destruction under § 15 FZV, purchase and sale of vehicles, deregistration and collection service, nationwide towing service, spare parts installation, repair and air conditioning service.
