About AUWA
AUWA is a brand of the WashTec Group and develops, produces and sells washing and care chemistry for professional vehicle washing. The product range includes products for tunnel car washes, gantry car washes, self-service wash systems and truck and bus wash systems, complemented by water treatment agents such as flocculants, odour control, pH regulation and regeneration salt as well as cleaning and care accessories. The production of the high-concentration products in powder and liquid form takes place in its own laboratories and plants in Germany. The AUWA Purity Standard, introduced in 2021, defines criteria such as biogenic-based surfactants, avoidance of NTA, halogen acids, mineral oils and microplastics, as well as packaging solutions such as CHEM-IN-A-BOX made of recyclable cardboard. Customers include petrol stations, wash parks, car dealerships, supermarkets as well as bus and transport companies. AUWA-Chemie GmbH is a subsidiary of WashTec AG headquartered in Augsburg; production and service sites exist in Grebenau, Recklinghausen and Nýřany (Czech Republic).
