About AVANCO Composites
AVANCO Composites is a company for the development, production, processing and finishing of lightweight products made of fibre-reinforced plastics based on carbon, glass and other fibre materials. The group of companies builds on more than 40 years of experience in lightweight solutions made of aluminium and carbon fibre reinforced composites. Production is carried out using thermoplastic winding, filament winding and continuous compression molding (X-CCM®); manufacturing is complemented by component design, material selection, process design as well as calculation, simulation and testing – from prototype to series production. The group comprises more than 350 employees at three production sites and is organised into the specialists INOMETA Thermoplastics (thermoplastic winding), DYNEXA (filament winding) and XELIS (continuous compression molding). Customer industries include, among others, Mobility/Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Energy, Marine, Robotics & Automation, Construction and Medical Technology. The headquarters is located in Herford; further production sites are located in Laudenbach and Bermatingen.

Thermoplastic UD tapes
