Averis GmbH was founded in June 2016 in Fellbach as a joint venture between the GITIS Group and the engineering firm coMFors-Consulting. The company develops and manufactures sealing and system solutions, including 2K/3K components produced by co-vulcanization onto plastic or metal bodies, radial shaft seals in special materials, O-rings and custom seals, as well as support and back-up rings. Production takes place using vulcanization and machining processes, from single-piece production of complex special seals and reverse engineering to prototypes and small series. The material portfolio includes elastomers such as EPDM, FKM, VMQ and FFKM as well as engineering and high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PA, PTFE and UHMW-PE. As the Home of Innovation of the GITIS Group in the German-speaking region, the Fellbach site handles development, prototypes and zero-series samples. Key markets are hydrogen technology, automotive as well as the food and pharmaceutical industries; with the H2G series, AVERIS supplies applications in electrolyzers, compressors, valves, connectors and pumps.

FKM (VB090LE1)
Low-temperature FKM for hydrogen applications from −50 to +200 °C, hardness 90 Sh. A.
VMQ
Silicone elastomer for temperature-resistant sealing applications.
FFKM
Perfluoroelastomer for seals exposed to extreme chemical and thermal stress.
PEEK
High-performance plastic for support and back-up rings, usable up to 240 °C, tensile strength 116 MPa.
PTFE (virgin, CG)
Low-friction plastic for dynamic seals and back-up rings, usable up to 260 °C.
UHMW-PE
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene for support rings with a low coefficient of friction, usable up to 90 °C.
