Founded in 1946, the Avermann Group is a family-owned manufacturer of special machinery and systems headquartered in Osnabrück with around 460 employees at locations in Germany, Poland, Hungary and the Netherlands. The Group is organized into three divisions: environmental technology with machines and systems for the collection, compaction, shredding, transport and sorting of waste and recyclable materials; precast concrete technology with formwork, tilting tables, concrete distributors and complete production lines; and the Laser and Bending Center in Amt Wachsenburg for laser cutting, bending, assembly fabrication and stainless steel processing. Production is mainly in steel, stainless steel and aluminium, including triple-layer laser cutting. Customers come from waste management, recycling, the paper, plastics, packaging and food industries, retail, gastronomy and the building materials industry. The Group supplies customers worldwide and offers services from consulting, planning and design through manufacturing and assembly to service and commissioning.
