AVIA Distribution SA is a fuel and combustible distribution company based in Le Mont-sur-Lausanne. History
- 1959
The AVIA brand establishes itself in Western Switzerland: members of the AVIA association found a distribution company and take over the family business Maison Huber in Geneva, with a filling station network and an oil depot in Petit-Lancy — from this, AVIA Distribution SA is formed.
- 1997
Over the years, the company develops, particularly in the Lake Geneva basin, and opens a branch in the Lausanne region; more than 45 stations are operated, including stations of the national road maintenance centres of the canton of Vaud.
- 2022
Commissioning of the second production site for green hydrogen in Kubel near St. Gallen (Wasserstoffproduktion Ostschweiz AG) with AVIA participation.
- 2023
Opening of the first AVIA hydrogen filling station in Western Switzerland in Puidoux (10 May 2023), 24/24 for passenger cars (700 bar) and trucks (350 bar).
