About Aviko Deutschland
Aviko Deutschland GmbH, based in Rain am Lech, is the German subsidiary of the Dutch Aviko B.V., which belongs to the Royal Cosun Group. The company processes potatoes into French fries, rösti, mashed potato, potato wedges, gratins, snacks and convenience products for gastronomy, delivery services, wholesale and catering. In Germany, Aviko supplies more than 1,000 wholesale locations and also serves the markets in Austria and Switzerland. Many products are processed and packaged at its own plant in Rain am Lech; other products come from plants in the nearby Dutch border region, which keeps transport routes short. As a full-service provider, Aviko develops recipes and concepts, supports customers with marketing material and optimises their kitchen processes. All Aviko potatoes meet the SAI Gold Standard of the Sustainable Agriculture Initiative, and the packaging is 100 percent recyclable.
