About AVISTA OIL

AVISTA OIL Deutschland GmbH, headquartered in Uetze-Dollbergen, has been active in used oil processing since 1951 and covers the entire value chain from nationwide collection through re-refining to the production of base oils and lubricants. The core of production is the company's own patented Advanced Selective Refining (ESR®), an almost waste-free solvent extraction that preserves synthetic oils (XHVI, PAO). From the used oil, via dewatering, thin-film evaporation and fractionation, base oils of the KERNSOLVAT® brand (API Group I++) are produced in viscosities of 100, 130, 150 and 200. At the Dollbergen site, more than 250 automotive and industrial lubricants are blended on an inline blending system and filled from 1 liter up to the 1,000-liter container – up to 80,000 tonnes per year, also as private label. In addition, refinery products such as AVISTA Fuel Premium 10 and AVISTA Flux are manufactured for power plants, asphalt mixing plants and the bitumen industry. Through subsidiaries, the company is present in Denmark, the USA, Belgium, the Netherlands, Serbia and the Czech Republic.

Materials and Processes

ESR®

Advanced Selective Refining

Patented liquid-liquid extraction that frees used oil from dirt and PAH components using an environmentally compatible, recyclable solvent.

KERNSOLVAT®

Base oil API Group I++

Recovered base oil in viscosities of 100, 130, 150 and 200 with a high viscosity index and low sulfur, PAH and evaporation loss content.

AVISTA Fuel Premium

Middle distillate (heating oil R-LS, DIN 51 603-4)

Low-viscosity fuel substitute for power plants, asphalt mixing plants and industrial operations without preheating.

AVISTA Flux

Bitumen upgrading component

High-boiling blending component and plasticizer for the bitumen industry, asphalt mixing plants, insulation and roofing membranes.

XHVI/PAO

Synthetic oils

Synthetic components that are fully preserved in the process thanks to the gentle ESR technology.

Emulsion

Emulsions and oil-water mixtures

Oil-containing waste that is returned to the economic cycle using special processing technologies.
