AViTEQ Vibrationstechnik GmbH is a manufacturer of vibration and process engineering systems based in Hattersheim am Main. The company plans, develops and manufactures custom vibrating machines for conveying, sorting, screening, dosing and weighing bulk materials – from silo discharge units and vibrating troughs to spiral conveyors and linear and circular vibrating screens as well as dosing belt scales. The portfolio is complemented by in-house drive and control technology such as unbalance motors, magnetic vibrators and frequency controllers. The design is product-specific, based on bulk material properties such as particle size, bulk density and moisture; conveyability and process solutions are tested in the company's own pilot plant and bulk materials laboratory. The systems are used, among others, in the chemical, plastics, glass, steel and food industries as well as in mining and recycling, also in ATEX-compliant versions with food-grade stainless steel. Since 1939, originally as part of AEG, and since 1998 as an independent, since 2006 owner-managed company, more than 370,000 projects have been implemented. Around 120 employees work in Hattersheim, plus subsidiaries in Shanghai and France.
