About AVS Römer
AVS Römer is a family-owned company founded in 1970 by Joachim C. Römer, headquartered in Grafenau (Bavarian Forest), and a developer and manufacturer of custom valves, fittings, functional fittings, sensors, pumps and manifolds for fluid technology. The company produces solutions for connecting, controlling, measuring and conveying, on request from the idea through to series production and in any quantity. Its high level of in-house manufacturing depth includes its own design and development with FEM and CFD simulations, its own toolmaking, mechanical manufacturing, plastics technology (injection moulding) and MIM technology (metal injection moulding) for complex stainless steel geometries. Materials processed include stainless steel (1.4310, 1.4404), brass, aluminium as well as engineering plastics such as PPSU, polyketone, POM and PVDF. Customers come from Food & Beverage, Industrial and Life Science. Production takes place at the Grafenau and Langenberg sites (Ore Mountains, approx. 50 employees), with additional sales through AVS G. Roemer Schweiz AG in Aadorf. All products undergo a 100 percent full inspection for function and leak tightness.
