About us
AVT Altshausener Verpackungstechnik GmbH, based in Altshausen, manufactures wooden packaging: pallets in all designs and sizes (one-way, two-way, four-way and special pallets as well as EURO pallets according to EPAL), plywood boxes, solid wood boxes and crates, folding boxes, fruit crates as well as special and large-scale packaging for the transport of heavy and bulky goods. For export, custom-made boxes for air and ocean freight as well as container loading are offered, including IPPC-ISPM 15 treatment with certificates and protocols for customs clearance. Special custom products include transport trestles, storage trestles, heavy-duty pallets and in-house special constructions. Value creation begins in the company's own sawmill of Holzwerk Baumann GmbH in Wangen, where round timber up to 14.5 m in length and 75 cm in diameter is sawn and dried; in Altshausen, production takes place, among other things, on a specially designed CNC nailing machine for plywood parts in large quantities. A fully equipped service van enables packaging services directly at the customer's site. The company has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2002.
