About AVT GmbH
AVT GmbH is a mechanical engineering company founded in 1994 and based in Eberdingen-Hochdorf, specialising in automated packaging technology. The company manufactures film packaging machines, counting and inspection machines, dosing and weighing systems as well as conveyor systems, and within its item-pluspartner partnership develops customised special machines based on the item modular system. The product range extends from single packaging stations through standard machines to fully automated packaging lines. Materials processed include PE and PP film, recycled film, paper, cardboard and small load carriers (KLT); the machine bodies are made of anodised aluminium profile technology. Control is via PLCs with fieldbus and Ethernet, including SIEMENS control technology. Customers come from the electronics and electrical industry, the metal and automotive industry, medical and pharmaceutical technology, plumbing and sanitary fittings, as well as the toy and fittings sectors. AVT supplies customers in Europe, Asia and North America. Design is carried out in 3D CAD with in-house mechanical and electrical engineering departments; all core assemblies such as vibratory feeders and sorting elements are developed in-house.

Quality and labelling
Downstream checkweighers verify the completeness of the parts to be delivered; labelling is done by barcode/data matrix with connection to the customer's IT systems (e.g. SAP). The weighing systems are calibrated and certified to DIN EN ISO 9000 ff.
