About us
AWB Aluminiumwerk Berlin GmbH is a family-run extrusion plant founded in 2005, headquartered in Berlin-Spandau, and manufactures precision aluminium profiles for the most demanding customer requirements. The production chain covers raw material storage, toolmaking, extrusion on two presses with 23 MN and 20 MN press force, mechanical machining as well as packaging and logistics – all from a single source. Profiles are manufactured to customer drawings as unmachined, machined or surface-finished versions; sawing, drilling, milling, punching, CNC machining and assembly of modules are part of the service portfolio. With a composite machine, two profiles can be joined with plastics. Alloys used include EN AW-1050A, 6005, 6060, 6063, 6082 and 6463. The largest share of customers comes from the construction industry; in addition, AWB offers technical support in product development, advice on packaging and metal securing, and handling of the entire logistics.
