AWG Fittings GmbH in Ballendorf near Ulm develops, manufactures and distributes mobile and stationary fire protection equipment: fire brigade fittings, fire nozzles and tips, automatic nozzles, foam fittings, couplings as well as portable and vehicle-mounted fire monitors of the Alco brand. The product range also includes standpipes, suction strainers, siamese distributors, inline foam eductors and equipment for drinking water protection and wildland firefighting. Manufacturing takes place at the plant in Ballendorf, Baden-Württemberg, from design and material selection through to production and functional testing; materials used include aerospace-grade aluminium with anodised and powder coatings. The product range complies with relevant standards such as DIN EN 15182, DIN EN 17407 and DIN EN 15767. In addition to manufacturing, the company offers maintenance, repair, refurbishment, warranty service, training and spare parts supply through its own service centre and a worldwide dealer network. Since 2016, AWG has been part of the IDEX Fire & Safety Group and supplies fire brigades, industry and rescue services on all continents.
