About AWG Fittings
AWG Fittings GmbH, headquartered in Ballendorf near Ulm, develops, manufactures and sells fire brigade fittings, fire hose nozzles, automatic nozzles, foam fittings, couplings as well as mobile and stationary fire monitors of the Alco brand. The product portfolio includes, among other things, Turbo nozzles to DIN EN 15182, water distributors, dry riser outlets, suction strainers, foam inductors, system separators and fire protection equipment for fire brigades, industry and emergency services. Manufacturing takes place at the Ballendorf plant in Baden-Württemberg, from design and material selection through production to final inspection; housings are made, among other materials, from anodized aerospace-grade aluminium with powder coating. The offering is complemented by a service center offering repair, refurbishment, maintenance packages, warranty service as well as training and seminars. Since 2016 the company has belonged to the IDEX Fire & Safety Group (IDEX Corporation) and supplies users on all continents through a worldwide dealer network. The quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
