About us
AWT-Betonwerk GmbH is a medium-sized, family-run precast concrete plant based in Thuringia with many years of experience in sewer and civil engineering. The company produces manhole base sections and manhole riser components according to DIN EN 1917 – DIN V 4034-1, Type 2 as well as DIN 4034-2, jointless manhole structures such as pump sumps and tanks, as well as special structures such as cable chambers and rectangular structures. In addition, special and custom-made products are manufactured for the trade and planning offices. Production is carried out, among other things, using immediate demoulding (form-hardened) including clinker brickwork execution with invert channel and clinkers according to DIN 4051; robotics and a mixing plant are used at the plant. All products are subject to in-house production control according to DIN EN 206-1/DIN 1045-2 with internal and external monitoring by MFPA Weimar (Betonprüfstelle Apolda concrete testing institute). The company supports customers from the start of planning through consulting and logistics to transport and offers a re-delivery and complaint service. The site with production, warehouse and administration is Niederreißen in the municipality of Ilmtal-Weinstraße.
