AXA Entwicklungs- und Maschinenbau GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1965 and based in Schöppingen, Westphalia, that develops, designs and manufactures CNC machining centers and custom production systems. The portfolio includes column-type, gantry and end-face machining centers for milling, turning and drilling as well as 3-axis, 5-axis and end-face machining, complemented by special-purpose machines such as for the complete machining of nailer housings made of magnesium or the production of flat tensile and Charpy impact specimens. The in-house production depth is high: machine beds, enclosures, main spindles, swivel heads, columns, cross slides, gantries, tool changers, rotary tables and clamping fixtures are manufactured in the company's own plant. The machines are used across industries in SMEs and large industry, for example in steel construction, toolmaking, textile machinery manufacturing and testing technology. In addition, commissioning, maintenance, repair, retrofitting and spare parts service as well as the sale of immediately available new and fully overhauled machines are offered.
