Engineering services from concept study to first flight
Axalp Technologies AG is a Swiss engineering company founded in 2020 and based in Olten, accompanying unconventional aircraft from the first sketch to the flight-ready prototype. The team of six founders and around 45 engineers covers all disciplines of an aircraft program: aerodynamics, structures, flight physics, GNC and flight control, propulsion, electrical energy and batteries, as well as testing. The company works according to the Design, Build, Fly approach: in addition to concept studies, feasibility analyses and preliminary and detailed design up to production-ready drawings, aircraft structures and subsystems are also manufactured in composite and metal – from propeller blades to large cell assemblies, using in-house production and proven manufacturing partners. System integration covers avionics and controls, propulsion, and electrical energy and battery systems. The service portfolio is rounded out by subsystem, structural load and ground testing as well as flight testing of vehicles between 25 and 1'800 kg. In addition to aviation, Axalp also takes on the development of complex engineering systems in other fields.
