Axana Informations Technologie GmbH, based in Germering near Munich, is an expert office for telecommunications systems in the railway sector. The company provides approved expert inspectors (PSV) who, under framework agreements, perform plan review services for signalling and control technology (LST), power generation systems (EEA), overhead contact line systems (OLA), statics of traction power systems and telecommunications systems (Tk). The current focus is the field of telecommunications systems under VV BAU-STE: five approved PSV cover nine sub-areas, from GSM-R systems and train radio through operational hazard alarm, fire and intrusion alarm systems to emergency call systems, video surveillance and operational remote communication systems (BFMA). In addition to plan review, the company prepares expert reports, accompanies acceptance tests in accordance with EBA requirements and handles framework agreement and project support. The cooperation with Deutsche Bahn in the area of planning has existed for more than ten years. The PSV are approved in accordance with the requirements of VV PSV-STE.
