MAG Metallverarbeitung is a long-established metal fabrication business from the Erzgebirge region, with roots in a smithy founded in 1848 in Oederan. As an owner-managed trade business, the company produces customised metal constructions in single-part and small-series production. Its range of services includes CNC-controlled plasma cutting of steel, stainless steel and aluminium up to 30 mm material thickness, propane cutting up to 120 mm, welding with HP 0 certification for stainless steel in the pressure range up to 1000 bar, turning of workpieces up to 400 mm in diameter, and sheet bending on a 300-ton press brake. In addition, the company offers repairs as well as plant and vessel construction. The central production facility is located in Falkenau (town of Flöha, Saxony); Oederan is preserved as the company's place of origin.
