About Axiotherm
Axiotherm GmbH, based in Eisenberg/Thuringia, develops and produces phase change materials (PCM) and their macro-encapsulations for thermal energy storage. The portfolio comprises more than 30 organic (ATP) and inorganic (ATS) high-performance PCMs in a temperature range of -65 °C to +120 °C, including paraffins, salt hydrates and PCMs based on renewable raw materials; customer-specific melting temperatures are possible. Based on in-house plastic formulations, macro-encapsulations such as HeatSels® (water applications), HeatStaxx® (mobile heat storage) and HeatStaxx® Air (air-guided storage) are blow-molded. In addition, the company offers cooling elements (coolPacks) for pharmaceutical and food logistics, the PCM-polymer compound BlackIce® for the thermal stabilization of components, as well as application planning and technical testing. Reference projects include cold storage at the Futurium Berlin (50,000 liters, over 1 MWh) and sustainable cold storage for BioNTech vaccine transport. Axiotherm GmbH is a subsidiary of ESDA Technologie GmbH.
