About AXMANN
AXMANN-Fördersysteme GmbH, based in Zwenkau near Leipzig, develops, manufactures and installs conveyor technology systems for intralogistics: continuous conveyors such as roller and belt conveyors, sorters, vertical conveyors, storage and order-picking systems as well as complete production and assembly lines. Based on a standardized modular system, solutions are implemented from individual components to turnkey complete systems, including electrical and automation technology, control cabinet construction, steelwork platforms, fire protection barriers as well as robotic and handling applications. At the headquarters in Zwenkau, steel and aluminum parts are manufactured on 2,500 m² of production space using laser cutting machines and CNC turning and milling machines; final assembly and testing take place on 2,300 m² of assembly space. Customers include companies from the automotive industry, household appliances, tire and packaging industries as well as parcel service providers such as DHL, UPS and DPD. Other locations are Sinsheim (Southern Office and Experiential Museum of Conveyor Technology) and Birmingham, Alabama (USA), since 2024 the operating center for plant engineering in the USA.
