About AXSOL
AXSOL develops and delivers battery energy storage systems (BESS) up into the multi-megawatt range, together with the associated control and optimization software. The modular storage platform ECS (Energy Container Solutions) is designed to be scalable, flexible and manufacturer-independent. The energy management system AXOS controls energy flows and system components in real time, while the optimization system ADONYS analyzes market and operating data using machine learning and optimizes battery lifetime and yields. The portfolio covers analysis (load profiles, grid connection, profitability), engineering (system design, safety architecture, grid compatibility), EPC including grid connection, as well as operation and maintenance with 24/7 monitoring and fault clearance service. Applications range from grid stability and flexibility marketing to co-location with PV and wind farms, e-mobility and backup of supply for critical infrastructures. Reference projects are large-scale storage systems for terralayr in Lohsa (8 MW / approx. 17,5 MWh) and Altencelle (15 MW / 30 MWh). The company is based in Würzburg.
