About AxSun Solar
AxSun Solar GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized, family-owned manufacturer of photovoltaic modules headquartered in Laupheim-Baustetten in southern Germany. Since 2004 the company has been developing and producing solar modules, and since 2009 at its own production facility in Laupheim-Baustetten, where a 50-megawatt production line is operated today. Module manufacturing comprises cell string production with 5-busbar technology on modern stringers, robot-assisted placement of the cell strings in the layup, and lamination with tempered solar glass, backsheet film or glass-glass construction and high-performance aluminium frames. The product range extends from roof-mounted and bifacial glass-glass modules to in-roof modules for the SOLRIF system, PV balcony modules, coloured modules, copper-coloured heritage-protection modules for monument and ensemble protection, as well as ground-mounted, compact and Agri-PV modules. Customer-specific special modules in terms of shape, power and colour complete the programme. Every module undergoes a 100% electroluminescence inspection; climate chamber, fire protection and hail tests as well as power measurements according to IEC 60904 safeguard quality. Products are distributed via specialist retailers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg.
