About axxent
axxent is an owner-managed company specializing in the development and manufacturing of professional audio intercom systems and electroacoustics. The product range includes wired intercom systems for theaters, film productions, vehicles and conference rooms, as well as amplifiers, induction loop amplifiers, toroidal transformers, automatic mixers and active loudspeakers. The axxent brand has been registered as a word/figurative mark since 1991; already at that time, a first series of audio intercom products was manufactured in Germany, including a MIDI-controlled 19" rack mixer, an audio distribution system and a four-channel crossover. Originally manufactured only in Germany, the products are increasingly also produced in other European countries, mainly in Slovakia, where engineers and technicians experienced in broadcasting technology produce with a high level of quality consistency. The systems are used by several thousand event technology companies and are in use in more than 20 countries.
