About the AXXUM Group
The AXXUM Group is a European provider of packaging solutions and contract logistics for industrial companies. The service portfolio includes export and heavy-duty packaging, system packaging, dangerous goods and air freight packaging, packaging material production, container stuffing and port services, as well as assembly/disassembly, warehousing, production logistics (JIT/JIS, KANBAN, sequencing), spare parts and packaging logistics, transport and customs clearance. Own packaging materials are manufactured from wood (ISPM-15), plywood, OSB, cardboard, steel and plastic, including sheet-metal packaging and coil packaging; crate design is performed statically with the in-house KIWI tool. Customer industries include mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry, the steel industry, pharmaceutical and medical technology, rail vehicle manufacturing, and security and defense. The Group's headquarters, with over 60 interconnected sites in seven European countries and 13 member companies, is located in Wuppertal; the certified area of Axxum GmbH is located in Wuppertal-Vohwinkel. At the Hamburg site in the Blohm+Voss halls, components of up to 240 tonnes can be handled and packaged.

Quality and certifications
The AXXUM Group works according to ISO 9001 (certified by DEKRA, 2025 surveillance audit without deviations) as well as, at selected sites, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001. Packaging is certified according to the HPE standard, crates are calculated statically with the KIWI design tool, and dangerous goods handling is performed as Regulated Agent of the LBA (German Federal Aviation Authority).
