About us
azba cosmetics GmbH is a company based in Berlin-Adlershof that develops and produces cosmetic products and dietary supplements. Its offering includes product development following a seven-stage process, product optimization of existing formulations, white and private label service, and contract manufacturing of existing formulations. Production uses natural raw materials, including upcycled raw materials such as açaí, capirona, sacha inchi and cupuaçu; synthetic preservatives are avoided. The production range spans toners, serums and gels through emulsions, creams and masks to oils and supplement shots. Development and production go hand in hand for quality assurance; analyses and testing are carried out with the support of the sister organization Analytical Center Berlin-Adlershof (AZBA). At the Justus-von-Liebig-Str. 4 site in Berlin, formulation, manufacturing, filling, labeling and assembly are offered, as well as regulatory support such as safety assessment and certification (Natrue, COSMOS, Organic).

Founding of azba cosmetics in Berlin by Penélope Jirón and her father Dr. Jirón, managing director of the Analytical Center Berlin-Adlershof (AZBA); started with a small laboratory and an own brand.
- 2018
Penélope Jirón takes over the management of the company; focus on the B2B market.
