About us

Azel-Plast Kunststoff-Spritzguss GmbH manufactures technical plastic injection-moulded parts in single and two-component technology in Langenargen on Lake Constance – from parts weighing 0.01 g up to components weighing 740 g. The machine fleet comprises eight injection moulding machines with clamping forces from 35 to 275 tonnes, as well as hot runner controllers, process monitoring software and peripheral equipment such as colour dosing units, granulate dryers and granulate mills. All common thermoplastics except PVC, engineering plastics and thermoplastic elastomers are processed. The services include toolmaking and manufacturing engineering consulting, post-processing, moulded-part conditioning as well as conditioning and fire-protected tool storage. Customer industries include mechanical engineering, the electrical, construction, advertising, automotive and packaging industries. The company has been certified to DIN ISO 9001 since 2003; all regrind generated in the plant is fed back into the processing cycle.

Materials & Processes

TP

Thermoplastics (standard)

All common thermoplastics available on the market except PVC for small and large series.

TK

Engineering plastics

Used in technical injection moulding with tight tolerance fields and high dimensional accuracy.

TPE

Thermoplastic elastomers

Processed in two-component technology for elastic component functions.

POM

POM (polyoxymethylene)

Engineering plastic with 3–4 % shrinkage, e.g. for highly stressed shaft bearings.

2K

Two-component injection moulding

Combination of thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers in a single component.

HK

Hot runner technology

State-of-the-art hot runner controllers for gate optimisation and reduction of sprue waste.
