AZS GmbH – Armaturenzentrum Südwest is a supplier of rubber-lined valves based in Welzheim, Baden-Württemberg. The company manufactures and distributes weir-type diaphragm valves, check valves, tilt check valves, butterfly valves and flanged gate valves that are 100% downward compatible with the valves of the former S+S Armaturen GmbH. The bodies are made predominantly of spheroidal graphite iron (GGG 40), alternatively cast iron, stainless steel casting or duplex stainless steel; the media-contacted surfaces are hard or soft rubber-lined, or lined with enamel, EKB or ceramics depending on the product. The portfolio also includes spare, wear and accessory parts from well-known valve manufacturers, delivered from stock with no minimum order quantity. Production is carried out in accordance with DIN 3230 with testing per DIN 3354; the valves cover nominal sizes from DN 15 to DN 1800. Customers include the power plant industry, municipal water supply and wastewater treatment, the chemical industry, refineries, the pharmaceutical industry and the paper industry. Since 2007, AZS GmbH has been a support distributor of Krombach Armaturen GmbH.
