About B-COMMAND
B-COMMAND GmbH was founded in 1995 and specialises in the development, production and distribution of electrotechnical components. Under the rotarX brand, the Hamburg-based company manufactures slip ring bodies and rotary unions for the combined transmission of electrical power, signals, data and media between rotating and stationary components. The product range comprises more than 20,000 possible solutions: encapsulated miniature slip rings, automation and through-bore slip rings, pancake and Faston slip rings as well as hybrid slip rings for Ethernet, USB, KOAX, HD-SDI, pneumatic/liquid and fibre-optic transmission. Housings are made of plastic, aluminium or stainless steel; the contact system uses fibre brushes as well as gold and graphite or precious-metal wire brushes. In addition, limit switches for wind turbines, mechanical machining, painting and coating, cable assembly, special developments and prototype construction are offered. The in-house test laboratory performs, among other things, salt spray, vibration and high-voltage tests. Fields of application include wind energy, crane technology, robotics, packaging machinery, medical technology, the food industry, agriculture and stage technology.

Quality
B-COMMAND has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV Germany for more than 10 years. The in-house test laboratory performs, among other things, humidity, temperature, ingress protection, vibration/shock, high-pressure/vacuum, salt spray and endurance tests as well as high-voltage, insulation and contact resistance tests; for offshore applications, the salt spray test is carried out according to corrosion protection class C4H over 720 hours.
