Since 1983, B. Herpertz GmbH & Co. KG has operated a tool and mould making business in Düren serving all industries. Tools and moulds are manufactured according to in-house designs or to customer drawings and samples. The range of services includes CNC wire EDM, die sinking EDM, start hole drilling, milling, grinding and edge finishing as well as CNC machining centres. In addition to tool making, the company operates a stamping and bending department with presses and stamping presses from 10 to 315 t, deep drawing presses from 20 to 320 t and various bending machines. Two fully automatic welding robots produce welded assemblies. The complete production process includes the assembly of complete system assemblies, functional and visual inspection as well as electrostatic wet painting with water-based paints and packaging.
