B&L Lager- + Fördertechnik GmbH, based in Kamen, is a supplier for the equipment of industrial and storage facilities. The range of services includes pallet racking, drive-in and drive-through racking, narrow-aisle and push-back racking, cantilever racking, shelving racking, long-span racking, archive and timber racking, mobile racking, storage platforms, multi-tier installations, silos as well as lifting tables, podest ladders and operating equipment. The racking structures are made predominantly of steel or galvanised steel sheet; cantilever racking is available painted according to the RAL colour chart or hot-dip galvanised, and timber racking is made from Eastern European spruce. With a daily processing capacity of approx. 1,000 t of steel, short delivery times can be achieved. The services range from planning and consulting including CAD drawings, through installation by in-house assembly teams, to maintenance contracts with annual visual inspection, spare parts procurement and repair. Since July 1995 the company has been a contract partner of one of the world's largest manufacturers of racking components.
