B&M Die Strahlerei GmbH & Co. KG is a surface treatment contract manufacturer based in Magdeburg since 1996 and is one of the most long-established contract blasting services in northern Germany. The company blasts components made of metal, stainless steel and, in some cases, glass using chilled iron grit, glass beads or garnet sand – from small parts from 1 cm up to components with a length of 16 m and a weight of up to 25 t by crane. Afterwards, the company offers priming, industrial painting, preservation, oiling, sweep blasting as well as packaging and logistics; dry ice blasting, chemical paint stripping and powder coating are covered in cooperation with partner companies. The blasting qualities SA 2.5 and SA 3.0 are standard. Customers come from the metal, shipbuilding, aviation, automotive, food and pharmaceutical industries as well as mechanical engineering, the heritage/monument segment and the private customer segment. Production takes place on 1500 m² of production space in Magdeburg, with delivery throughout Germany.
