About B&S Metallbe- und -verarbeitungs
B&S Metallbe- und -verarbeitungs GmbH was founded in 1993 in Zwönitz and is today a wholly owned subsidiary of GSC Schwörer GmbH. As a contract manufacturer and for its own account, this medium-sized company produces CNC precision products for customers in Germany and Europe. On a site of around 22,000 m² with 7,300 m² of production space, approximately 80 skilled workers operate in a multi-shift system with more than 50 CNC machines. The manufacturing processes include CNC turning, CNC milling, gear production by gear shaping, broaching, reaming and sawing; another focus is the assembly of components and assemblies to customer specification. Customer industries include drive technology, general mechanical engineering, automotive, agricultural machinery, electromobility and medical technology. The site is the Am Windberg industrial estate in Zwönitz in the Erzgebirgskreis district, which has been continuously expanded since 2001.
