B & W is an Austrian specialist company founded in 1992 out of a two-man vision, dedicated to reactive power compensation, uninterruptible power supply (UPS systems), electrical power quality and energy data management. The company offers consulting, calculation, logistics, installation as well as service and maintenance from a single source. The product portfolio includes online UPS systems from 1 kVA to 800 kW (monoblock, rack, tower, cabinet and modular systems with N+1 redundancy), outdoor UPS systems, reactive power compensation units from 5 to 400 kVAr in floor-standing cabinet, wall-mounted cabinet and modular designs, reactive power controllers, filter solutions such as mains, harmonic and inverter output filters, energy meters and measuring devices from EMU and KBR as well as mobile power quality measuring devices from A-Eberle. Measurement services are performed with wired connections in the low- and medium-voltage range, in the time and frequency domain from DC voltage up to 20 MHz, in line with standards such as EN 50160. Customers come from industries such as chemicals, automotive supply industry, food industry, steel industry, printing, tourism and public infrastructure. The headquarters is in St. Pölten, and a second location in Bruck an der Glocknerstraße covers western Austria.

Reactive Power Compensation
Floor-standing cabinets, wall-mounted cabinets, fixed stages and compensation modules from 5 to 400 kVAr with detuning factors of 5.5 to 14 %.
