About B10
B10 Char is a South African biochar manufacturer based in Brondal (Mpumalanga). The company operates a certified circular carbon facility in which organic waste is converted into carbon-negative biochar through pyrolysis. The biochar produced improves soil fertility, water retention capacity and yields in agriculture, and sequesters carbon in the soil for the long term. In parallel, B10 offers verified, traceable carbon credits for companies with net-zero targets. Customer groups include farms seeking to strengthen their soil health, as well as companies purchasing durable CO₂ removal. According to its own statements, the targets named for 2026 are the processing of 44,000 t of waste, the production of over 14,000 t of biochar, and durable removal of around 30,000 t CO₂ or ±12,000 t CO₂ per year durably removed.
