About Baaske Medical

Baaske Medical GmbH & Co. KG specializes in medical IT hardware and electrical isolation. The portfolio includes network and video isolators for galvanic isolation of medical electrical devices, medical desktop and panel PCs (e-medic), the MEDX PC module thin client, medical power strips, isolation transformers, UPS devices as well as hygienic keyboards and mice. The products are designed with wipe-disinfectable, closed surfaces, some waterproof to IP65 through IP68, and are tested in accordance with EN/IEC 60601-1. Enclosures are made, among other materials, from anodized aluminum, ABS, silicone and tempered glass. Fields of application include hospitals, operating rooms, medical practices, medical care centers (MVZ), laboratories, industry, building services and audio applications. The products are sold via a B2B shop, complemented by product demonstrations, technical support, RMA processing and seminars; the network isolators have been in use worldwide in more than 30 countries since 2007.

Quality & Standards

The network isolators are tested in accordance with IEC 60601-1 (3.1 Edition) and meet the 4 kV requirement per 60601-1 (isolation up to 5 kV AC, up to 10 kV DC under stress conditions); production is carried out with UL production monitoring. Medical keyboards and computer systems comply with EN 60601-1-2 and protection ratings up to IP68.
