About us
Babilon GmbH is a family business from Eslohe in the Sauerland region with over 35 years of experience in cultivating Christmas trees. On more than 100 ha of its own cultivation areas, spread over a distance of 75 kilometres, the company mainly grows Nordmann fir, blue spruce and Norway spruce. In addition, the company offers rarer varieties from its own stock, such as Korean fir, noble fir, Serbian spruce, cork fir, black pine and Fraser fir, as well as cut greenery. The plantations are managed according to ecological principles; the areas are located in the Homert Nature Park in the Rhenish Slate Mountains, with annual precipitation of over 1000 mm. From the beginning of August, the trees are labelled and classified into size grades and three quality classes (Premium, Standard, Action tree). Customers can arrange inspection appointments, collect the goods loose or palletised, or have palletised trees delivered on schedule nationwide or throughout Europe. Accessories such as netting machines and nets are also offered.
