About BACHMANN FORMING AG
BACHMANN FORMING AG, based in Hochdorf (Lucerne), develops and produces packaging solutions for Food, Non-Food, Pharma, Diagnostics, Medical Technology, and Cosmetics. The value chain ranges from packaging development and in-house tooling to PET film extrusion and deep drawing (thermoforming) with die-cutting, finishing, and cleanroom production according to ISO-8 (ISO 14644, Laminar-Flow). Since 2025, the company has been producing recycled PET film (PCR-rPET) in-house using the PETEX extrusion line, including crystallization and superclean decontamination for food contact, with a capacity of 7,200 t per year. The process spectrum also includes Paper Trays (dry molded fiber), Pulp Trays (wet molded fiber), Second-Skin combination packaging made of cardboard and plastic, as well as the NETPAC mesh structure packaging. With the PAC2PAC system and membership in RecyPac, the company pursues a closed PET material cycle.
