About Backhaus Pieroth

Backhaus Pieroth is a third-generation family company based in Kirchen-Wehbach (Rhineland-Palatinate) that traces its origins back to its founding in 1910. The company produces handcrafted baked goods such as breads made with natural sourdough, rolls, fine pastries, cakes and gateaux as well as savoury topped snacks. Raw materials are preferably sourced from the region and from German agriculture, with chemical additives dispensed with. Production takes place in the company's own baking facility in the Wehbach industrial estate on the site of the former Friedrichshütte. Distribution is via 18 own branches and bakery shops, the company's own cafés, and fresh bakery shelves in EDEKA, Rewe and Kaufland stores in the Westerwald and Siegerland area. The company employs more than 180 staff members, including 18 apprentices.
