About the Kronenhof

The Kronenhof of Bad Homburger Brauhaus GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run estate farm on the outskirts of Bad Homburg, managed by the Wagner family in the fifth generation. At the heart of the operation is the Graf Zeppelin brewpub, where beers such as Helles, Dunkles, Märzen and a light beer are brewed in an artisanal, all-natural way – right in the guest room in copper kettles. The brewing barley comes from the farm's own agricultural cultivation on the estate's fields, supplemented by Taunus spring water and hops. In addition, the offering includes a restaurant with regional cuisine, a beer garden with views of the Frankfurt skyline and the Taunus, heated log cabins and brewing seminars. The beers are available as 1-liter swing-top bottles and, by pre-order, in 10- or 30-liter kegs. The Kronenhof also hosts weddings, family celebrations and conferences and operates a modern equestrian facility with boarding horses. Energy supply is partly based on renewable energies, since 2010 via a photovoltaic system.
