BÄR Automation GmbH is a medium-sized, family-owned company headquartered in Gemmingen (Baden-Württemberg) and active as a system integrator in industrial automation and mobile robotics. The company covers the entire value chain – from concept and engineering through manufacturing to assembly of customized automation solutions. Two core areas form its service portfolio: custom automation and assembly technology solutions including conveying technology, robotics and integrated control systems, as well as the development and production of automated guided vehicles (AGV/AMR). The ConTrax® range of AGV products includes forklift AGVs, modular platforms, under-ride AGVs and the modular system ConTrax® Module One, controlled via the in-house developed navigation software ConTrax® HybridNav as well as the AGV Fleet Manager. Application areas include assembly, production and logistics, among others in the automotive and medical technology sectors, the food industry, intralogistics and the manufacturing industry. In 2024, a cooperation with Siemens Industry was announced.
