About Bärnreuther+Deuerlein Schotterwerke

Bärnreuther+Deuerlein Schotterwerke is a family-owned company in the Nuremberg metropolitan region that has been producing chippings from limestone and dolomite since 1933. In five active quarries in the Upper Palatinate and Middle Franconia, the rock is processed by drilling, blasting, crushing and screening into chipping products for asphalt and concrete; gradation curves are possible on request. The range comprises four areas: chippings, disposal of stones and soils including contaminated soils as a certified specialist disposal company, factory- and hand-filled gabions, and transport with an own fleet of around 80 trucks. In-house production control takes place in the company's own testing laboratory at the Weickenhof site with external monitoring by the Technical University of Munich (MPA BAU). Around 170 employees produce and deliver mainly in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. The company is headquartered in Postbauer-Heng; technical operations management and purchasing are located in Gräfenberg.
