About BÄRO

BÄRO International Lighting GmbH is an owner-managed medium-sized company based in Leichlingen, specializing in professional lighting solutions. The success story began over 50 years ago with the idea of illuminating food in such a way that its freshness and quality are visible. The Retail Lighting division acts as a project partner and system supplier, offering innovative LED lighting solutions for all retail formats – from recessed, surface-mounted and pendant luminaires to light panels and profiles, as well as power tracks, carrier systems and individual luminaire shades made of metal, textile or acrylic. Development, manufacturing and assembly of the luminaires take place in Germany, with almost the entire value chain within Europe. Housings are made, among other things, from aluminium die-casting and powder-coated; steel, sheet steel, plastic, acrylic, textile and wood are also used. In addition to product manufacturing, the offering includes lighting design, lighting control (Casambi BLE, DALI-2, cloud-based ecoDiMotion/Internet-of-Light) and the focusing of spotlights by BÄRO technicians on site. Reference projects throughout Europe demonstrate applications in food retail, bakeries, butcher shops, gastronomy, hotels, fashion and architecture.
