About the Manufactory
Bättig manufakt is a Swiss manufacturer founded in 1948, based in Illnau (ZH), that produces garden furniture by hand. The collection includes chairs, bar stools, stools, tables and benches, among them the classic Swiss garden chair 'Modell 10', produced for generations. The frames are made of hot-dip galvanised round tubing; the seat and backrest surfaces are made with PVC slats or oiled ash slats. Surfaces are lacquered, powder-coated or oiled, and the colour selection includes the company's own colour chart programme with RAL and NCS tones. The furniture is stackable, weather-resistant and repairable; the manufactory offers refurbishment, re-lacquering, re-slattting, spare parts and service. Customers come from gastronomy, the hotel industry and the public sector as well as from private gardens; reference projects include, among others, the City of Zurich and the SWISS Skybar in Kloten. Delivery is made ex workshop throughout Switzerland.
