About Baier Motors
Baier Motors GmbH, based in Eckernförde, develops custom motorcycles based on a modular multitraction platform. The platform allows the integration of different drive types – electric drive and combustion engine – and, through a high degree of common parts usage, lowers costs while maintaining consistent quality. A key focus is on CO2-neutral drive solutions: in addition to electric drives, the company is working on the use of e-fuels in existing combustion concepts. In late summer 2024, the company completed its first test ride with its prototype and published results as well as a promotional video for its ongoing funding campaign. The target market is, alongside the DACH region, in particular the African motorcycle market, where local production is planned that will address the needs of the region and create local value creation. The founder and managing director is Torben Baier.
